The essence and origin of architecture is in the shelter of human being against nature. That first refuge gives rise to the art to which we dedicate ourselves. Our main mission as architects is to help people live better. For this reason, we love to design houses, since homes are the first and main place of development of life of each individual, of each family, of each community.
Although the emphasis on improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the dwellings is essential in our residential projects, we pay attention to a vast constellation of needs and complementary issues during the development of the projects. From the relationship with nature and our impact on it when carrying out and inserting buildings in landscape to the technical and economic feasibility of projects, our systemic way of working allows us to carry out unconventional proposals within restricted economic and urban parameters, thus being capable of delivering different and better home designs than those initially imagined by our clients before seeing our proposals.
From the point of view of the relationship between the built environment and nature, we firmly believe in the need for the coexistence of human beings in nature. Only a full balance of human beings with the ecosystem that surrounds us can extol that quality of life that is the backbone of our residential philosophy. Biophilia as a feeling of connection with nature is a concept present in many of our projects, which is supplemented by energetic, economic and environmental sustainability of all the projects we carry out. This has led us to receive international recognition in renowned architecture publications around the world as well as receiving prestigious international awards such as the Holcim Awards for Sustainable Architecture among others.
